  1. Vim        Vi IMproved.  A clone of the UNIX text editor Vi.  Very useful

  4.         commands.  Extra features above Vi: Multilevel undo, multiple
  5.         windows, command line history, improved command line editing,
  6.         command typeahead display, command to display yank buffers,
  7.         possibility to edit binary files, file name stack, support for
  8.         Manx QuickFix and other compiler's error messages, shows
  9.         current file name in window title, on-line help, rectangular
  10.         cut/paste, etc., etc., etc...
